There is a lot of excitement in Chevrolet dealerships across the country to begin 2008. The introduction of the highly anticipated, totally redesigned 2008 Chevrolet Malibu has started some of the commotion. Many dealers are having trouble just getting this vehicle. And once they do, they are being sold so quickly that there is a constant battle to keep them available if only for test drive purposes.

This car is being compared to the ever popular Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. Not bad for a vehicle class that has been dominated in recent years by nothing but imports. Add to this the fact that you may still buy one for sticker price, or close to it, completely loaded for around $28,000.00.

2008 Chevrolet Malibu

2008 Chevrolet Malibu

The all new Chevy Malibu is creating quite a buzz in the automotive world for 2008. But don’t take our word for it. Here ishat some of the experts are saying…

“The improved design gives you a reason to look, and the improved quality gives you NO reason to turn away.” CNN.com

“…curving dashboards sections…similar to the Corvettes of old.” Road & Track

“…it’s the next big thing in midsize cars.” Motor Trend

Dealerships across the country are already starting to feel the pressure. Customers are inquiring about the Malibu almost as much as the Corvette. Amazing! Thanks in part to a wonderful job by General Motors of aggressively advertising the car. But all the advertising in the world will not sell a bad product. But don’t worry; Malibu is definitely living up to the hype. Sleek styling, inside and out, and an almost Lincoln Continental feel of luxury on the road, have helped to create quite a demand for GM’s newest project. And all of this for under $30,000.00!!! And that’s for the LTZ loaded model.

If you have the chance to test drive one of these vehicles, do it as soon as possible. Many dealerships cannot even keep them on the lot long enough for anyone to test drive. And once someone does drive it, they usually buy it! Making an already tough job tougher for many sales managers across the country.
